About Jammin' Jim Sanders
Jim Sanders (AKA) Jammin' Jim Sanders has been writing and performing for children for over twenty years. People say his music is rock and roll that is rambunctious and fun for all ages .
Jammin' Jim is a self-taught musician who has honed his craft by playing and performing for all types of audiences. He started writing children's music when his nieces and nephews, and his two daughters were younger. He then kept at it, performing all over Vermont and obtaining arts grants to play in schools pre-schools and childcare facilities to progress to the fun loving children's musician he is today.
Jammin' Jim produced his first children's album titled, "My Chair is a Plane" in 2001 and with songs like, "Bounce & Boogie", "The Boo Boo Song" this album has been a great big hit for kids and adults alike.
Jim and his wife Beth reside in Burlington, Vermont. They have two beautiful girls (Jessica & Taylor). Jim's girls were the first to inspire him to write children's music and included them in the recording of his first album.
For the past twenty (20) years, Jim and Beth have owned and operated an in-home Preschool by the name of Nurturing Young Minds. All of their little friends at Nurturing Young Minds are great inspirations and are always willing to hear Jammin' Jim's new music, exciting imaginary storys and his new children's books.
What's with the short hair...

Jim has been with the Vermont Army National Guard (VTARNG) for the past fourteen (14) years. He is currently a
SFC (E7) Platoon Sergeant.
He is a Combat Veteran with a one year deployment to the Paktika Province, Gardez,  Afghanistan.
Jim was sure to bring his guitar to Afghanistan with him and whenever they had a little down-time he would play for the troops. From time to time, he would even play (his harmonica) for the children of the villiges they visited. Check out the pics...
